Kristina Webb is a New Zealand based artist who has loved creating art since she could hold a pencil.

Although born in NZ at two years old, Kristina and her family moved to live on a small pacific island in Vanuatu for a few years. From here, she moved to the coast of Australia and lastly lived on a boat in the Whitsundays near the Great Barrier reef.

During this time, Kristina and her older sister were homeschooled before returning to NZ at age 8. Her adventurous, unique childhood set her up for a different way of living life from an early age.

This resulted in her struggling to fit into the conformity and structure of the school system once in high school. Finding little to no freedom even in the art classes she took, she started to create the art she felt like creating at home and started posting her creations online at 15 years old.

At age 16, Kristina moved to the USA to do a high school exchange, and it was here she created her first art Instagram account. This account rapidly grew to a following in the millions within a few short years.

She consistently posted drawings that resonated with her growing audience and would often go internet viral. At age 18 and 19 years old, Kristina released her first two international books published by Harper Collins NYC (Color Me Creative and Color Me Inspired). In 2015 and 2016, she toured the USA, meeting thousands of fans on book tours, featuring on TV shows, numerous magazine interviews and radio stations.

Over the years, Kristina has been commissioned by and worked with brands such as Disney, Google, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Fanta and Bose.

Her work has been recognised and posted by many mainstream celebrities such as Ed Sheeran, Tyra Banks, Paris Hilton, Bella Thorne, James Franco, Cody Simpson etc., as well as many online celebrities.

In early 2018 at 22 years old, Kristina decided to completely step away from the social media world by deactivating her two large Instagrams with a collective following of over 3 million to take some much needed time off to re-charge and focus on her health.

On her 25th birthday, September 8th 2020, she reactivated one of her Instagram accounts again for the first time in 2 and a half years.

She is planning on fully returning, intending to help people with their mental health during such a traumatic time in the world.

With a strong focus on well-being and cultivating a healthy relationship with social media, Kristina has since been sharing the tools she learnt over her years offline that have helped her with her own mental health battles (anxiety and depression) after being thrown into such unexpected, fast, online fame at such a young age.

She is also currently battling with daily chronic pain and will be releasing her full story when she returns to her main art Instagram account @Colour_me_creative this year.

In the meantime, Kristina will be using her personal account @Kristinawebb to post the art she creates based on the topics that are important to her.

Through it all, she will continue to focus on self-care, self-love... and a strong mission to encourage others to take care of themselves, others and the natural world around them, as the beauty of nature is one of Kristina's biggest inspirations in her artwork and life.
